Just so you know, as I went to post this the update failed so yay I have to type it all out again.
Today we stuff around all morning, or more accurately, Shane does with me trying to inspire him into action. Eventually we board the tube bound for Camden Markets. These markets are great with the largest clientele being goths and punks. But as usual the place is packed and we swear to come back on a weekday. I can't shop at the best of times let alone when a place is choc full of the "cool people".
Shane is keen to buy t-shirts so we check out this store selling roughly 100 or so different designs. We browse around for ages and there was this Home Alone shirt with the classic picture of Macauley Culkin expressing surprise or whatever the hell that emotion's supposed to be. I'd sort of glanced at it a bunch of times but being a familiar image I chose to ignore it, but upon realising it was an odd design to include in this kind of shop I took a closer look and realised they'd superimposed a scary picture of Michael Jakson peeking through the window at him. I swear I laughed for a good ten minutes with tears and all which was rather embarrassing. So Shane said 'if it's that funny I'm going to buy it' and he did. This caused various outbursts of laughter for the rest of the day.
We drop by the bakery on the way home and spend the evening watching a couple of romantic comedies (both with 10 in the title) borrowed from his brother Craig whilst feeding on pizza. My quota for romance movies for the year is now full (or should I say, truly exceeded its limit). And you know what, as I write this Shane puts on 'Wimbledon' *sigh*.
