Joel has emailed Shane and I a mission and surprise surprise Shane is up for it. I exclaim leaving the house 'I can't believe we're out of the house' to which he replies 'you say that everytime' which is our usual conversation whenever we venture out.
We take a stroll up Regent Street, drop into Hamleys (a 5-7 floor toy shop which isn't quite as great as it sounded but still good nonetheless). I take a couple of photos of life size lego figures and co-erce Shane into walking down the Harry Potter themed staircase much to his utter humiliation. I rather liked it though. Then after walking up and down Regent Street looking for where we're supposed to be we finally find it. It's a place called Playlounge which sells quirky toys much to my liking. It's about 4 times smaller than I pictured it.
I SWEAR everytime I go into a comic or specialty toy store the shop attendant is ALWAYS on the phone with some friend of theirs complaining about the hangover they have from the night before. Everytime! They're such a stereotype.
Anyway, I can't really spend money yet until I get a job so I don't. Shane is all sooky cos he has got something in his eye for like the 100th time this week so we go home and watch his new Seinfeld DVDs. Yes, more DVDs but as I'm trying not to spend too much I think it's totally justified. Damn you all! :)
